Christine McCusker, Canada

Dr McCusker is an allergist/immunologist at the Montreal Children's Hospital. She has a varied clinical practice seeing pediatric patients with allergies, asthma and immunodeficiencies. Dr McCusker has developed the program for home immunoglobulin infusions for children with primary immunodeficiencies, the first of its kind in Canada. Her research laboratory conducts basic research focusing on the role of early life antigen stimulation in the education of the immune system and the prevention of asthma and allergies in children. In the clinical invetsiagtions center she is a co-PI in trials for oral immunotherapy or food desensitization for children with food allergies.
