Dr. Allen Steverman obtained his bachelor of arts (psychology) at McGill University and his medical degree at the Université de Montréal. He completed his residency in family medicine at McGill as well as a graduate certificate in chronic pain management also at McGill. He is an attending physician at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal Pain Clinic as well as the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital. His clinical work is primarily focused on physical rehabilitation and chronic pain and he has developed a particular interest in mindfulness based approaches to chronic pain management.
