What's in a name....or a number. Let's review the six common pediatric infections that cause a rash. Although not numbered, varicella should be included!
As a result of attending this workshop, participants will be:
- more familiar with the Numbered rashes of childhood
- This will include 1st disease: Rubeola or Measles; 2nd disease: Scarlet Fever; 3rd: Rubella; Fourth: Does it exist? Filatove-Dukes or SSSS; 5th disease: the most popular, known also as Erythema Infectiosum; and 6th disease: Roseola.
- Although not numbered, cannot have a Pediatric talk on common Pediatric infections that produce rashes without discussing Varicella or Chickenpox
