Overview

In preparation for the workshop  Dr. Steinmetz suggests to purchase the textbook "Bedside Ultrasound Level 1" at: http://www.alinepress.com

We will cover chapters 1-4, 6,7,8,9 and 11 at the workshop. 
The textbook is written simply and can be read in a number of hours.
We will practice techniques outlined in the text.

Objectives

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

1. Be familiar with common primary care clinical scenarios for which point of care ultrasound has practical value in helping determine diagnosis or facilitate patient management.

2. Generate basic point of care ultrasound scans and interpret the images.

3. Understand the limitations of point of care ultrasound in primary care
