We will cover chapters 1-4, 6,7,8,9 and 11 at the workshop. 
The textbook is written simply and can be read in a number of hours.
We will practice techniques outlined in the text.

Objectives

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • be familiar with common primary care clinical scenarios for which point of care ultrasound has practical value in helping determine diagnosis or facilitate patient management.
  • generate basic point of care ultrasound scans and interpret the images.
  • understand the limitations of point of care ultrasound in primary care
