Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Body Dysmorphic Disorder are common mental disorders, each affecting 2-3% of the population. They are frequently misdiagnosed or missed altogether by clinicians. Those that are recognized often do not receive evidence-based treatments. This session will be an overview of how to recognize and work with patients who have OCD specturm disorders.

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • describe the clinical features of OCD, BDD
  • understand how to evaluate for these disorders
  • describe evidence-based treatment options
